Restaurant Franchise Mama Fu's Signs Area Development Agreement For Three Locations In South Louisiana. Pan-Asian “Flex-Casual"
Restaurant Franchise Concept Meets Consumer Demand for Fresh, Healthy Foods; SBC Restaurants to “Flex” Their Muscles in Baton Rouge and Lafayette.
AUSTIN, Texas – Since Murphy Adams Restaurant Group purchased
restaurant franchise Mama Fu’s in 2008, business has gone nowhere but up. Complete with a new prototype, retooled menu and an innovative “flex-casual” service model, Mama Fu’s announces the signing of an area development agreement for three
restaurant franchises in southern Louisiana.
The signed agreement, targeting Baton Rouge and Lafayette, is part of an aggressive national expansion plan calling for 130
restaurant franchises in the next five years. With 13 locations successfully operating throughout Arkansas, Florida, North Carolina and Texas, the signed agreement will bring the first Mama Fu’s
franchise locations to the Louisiana market.
“It’s a tremendous time for us as we build on our brand’s success and sign our first area development agreement in Louisiana,” said Randy Murphy, President and CEO of Mama Fu’s. “Our newest
franchise partners in Louisiana are quality individuals and have extensive experience in the
restaurant business. We are excited about their development and look forward to helping them grow.”
Mama Fu’s, where Pan-Asian meets fast and fresh, offers consumers convenience, value and unique flavors with its high quality, made-to-order Asian-inspired food. With a contemporary and user-friendly menu that allows customers to navigate their options more easily, guests can choose between a rice dish or noodle bowl, as well as their protein of choice, from a selection of Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese and Korean menu options. More health-conscious customers can order a Steam Bowl or have their protein prepared wok-seared, a cooking method that reduces oils and starch.
“The fun, contemporary environment seen in our restaurants, complete with the right mix of quality, flavorful cuisine, will help capture each and every one of our customers’ appetites,” added Murphy.
SBC Restaurants, LLC will lead Mama Fu’s southern Louisiana expansion with area developers Kyle Brechtel, Gary Solomon and Kyle Crochet. As veterans of the
franchise industry – with such concepts as Chili’s, Smoothie King, McAlister’s Deli and New Orleans Original Daiquiris – the group brings a wealth of development knowledge to Mama Fu’s.
“The potential for Mama Fu’s is endless as it is the only Asian-inspired concept in the marketplace that offers a contemporary flex-casual setting for lunch and dinner,” said Brechtel. “We couldn’t be more excited about bringing Mama Fu’s into Baton Rouge and Lafayette.”
