Having been a graduate assistant coach for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks football team from 1997 to 1999, Bodiford learned the true meaning of work ethic.

get my own business off the ground later in life.”
Bodiford never thought a career in athletics could have paved the way for him to run a
successful business of his own but that emphasis on hard work was all it took to hit the ground running.
"Did I dream of having a janitorial service as a career? Of course not," said Bodiford, laughing. "But when I started researching business opportunities, I discovered that some of the least-sexy businesses are among the most profitable. That interested me."
With a wife and two children at home, Bodiford launched 360clean while maintaining his pharmaceutical sales job. To cover his rapidly growing list of clients, he found himself working as late as 2 a.m. to ensure his customers received great service. It didn't take long before he left his sales job to run 360clean full time, and in just months, the business was profitable.
"I said to myself, 'This is a really good business!' But I knew if I was going to keep it growing, I had to franchise," Bodiford said. That also meant streamlining the 360clean system to make it duplicable. "I've worked those long hours myself, so I know we're not selling fluff. We're selling a system we've worked thoroughly and perfected ourselves."
Initially, 360clean was a specialized janitorial service for medical offices, hospitals, nursing homes and allied businesses. But Bodiford saw the opportunity to apply his unique Jani+Med cleaning system to any commercial building while remaining competitively priced. He quickly saw that offering the specialized janitorial service to all commercial buildings was essential to broadening the revenue opportunity for potential franchisees.
360clean is a highly affordable concept with low initial fees and low capital investment. In 2011, 360clean will launch its JumpStart program for area developers, which includes financing on as much as half the initial fee, and a large contribution to a grand opening marketing campaign from 360clean.
