ColorTyme Golf Tournament Tradition Continues For
Franchising Company. Willie Talley Golf Tournament a classic
ColorTyme summer event.
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – June 2009 – Following a successful buying show at the
ColorTyme Summer Meeting, more than 130 attendees enjoyed a day of leisure with activities including the annual Willie Talley Golf Tournament. This year, the tournament was played at Raptor Bay Golf Club in Bonita Springs, Fla.
Named after the founder of ColorTyme, the Willie Talley Golf Tournament is a tradition celebrated by employees, franchisees and vendors. Bob Bloom,
ColorTyme CEO and president, says the event is a staple of the summer meetings.
“Golfing together is a tradition that has been around since we started operating thirty years ago,” said Bloom. “The tournament is a much deserved event after all the work our attendees put it at the meeting. It’s a good time for everyone to unwind and enjoy being around friends and family.”
Participants formed into nine teams and competed on an 18-hole course designed by golf legend Raymond Floyd. Surrounded by native plants and wildlife, the course helped make the tournament a hit with the golfers.
“The course was beautiful and the playing format really made it fun,” said Scott McHale,
ColorTyme franchisee and first-time Summer Meeting attendee. “We’re already looking forward to next year’s tournament.”
Players on the winning team were
ColorTyme Franchise Owner Scott Brown, Nathan Brown, Carey Buxton and Tom Jordan of Toshiba. The next Willie Talley Golf Tournament is scheduled for June 2011 in Lake Tahoe, Calif.
