Terry Corkery is the president and founder of FranchiseWorks.com. He began his franchising career in 1987 and has experience working in both small start up franchise companies to larger 500 + unit franchise organizations. He has been involved in a variety of franchise industries that range from automotive, early childhood education, preschools, dry cleaning, advertising and food service. He has held various positions throughout his career from franchise sales manager to vice president of franchise development. Mr. Corkery has been speaker at a number of franchise conferences and is currently on IFA's Technology Committee

Lane Fisher is a partner in Fisher & Zucker, LLC, a national full-service law firm dedicated almost exclusively to franchising and business licensing matters. For over 17 years, he has represented franchisors in business transactions and complex litigation including matters related to trademark and copyright infringement, franchise development, regulatory issues and enforcement of franchise agreement obligations on behalf of franchisors. A frequent speaker at franchise conferences, Fisher has written extensively on franchise-related issues and appeared on CN8 and CNN-fn.
Michael Seid is the founder and Managing Director of Michael H. Seid & Associates, LLC, (MSA) a domestic and international franchise advisory firm and has over 25 years experience as a Senior Operations and Financial Executive or Consultant for companies within the franchise, retail, restaurant, hospitality and service industries, as well as having been a franchisee. Together with the late Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy's International, he is the co-author of Franchising for Dummies, published by Wiley Publishing, now in its 2nd edition. He was a senior officer for Supercuts, an international franchisor of hair care salons, as well as a franchisee of the system.
Brad Fishman is CEO of Fishman Public Relations, a national PR agency specializing in publicity programs for more than 75 franchise companies. He has spent more than 20 years helping franchise clients develop successful lead generation campaigns through successful public relations efforts. Currently, Fishman serves on the executive board of the IFA, as well as on the board of the IFA's Franchise Suppliers Forum. Fishman also serves on the IFA's Membership Committee and the IFA's International Matchmaker Task Force.
Jeff Zucker is a partner in Fisher & Zucker, LLC, a national full-service law firm dedicated almost exclusively to franchising and business licensing matters. Jeff has been representing clients in business-related matters for over 15 years - first as an accountant and for the past 10 years as an attorney. While Jeff practices in the area of commercial law generally, he has concentrated on franchise-related transactions, litigation and pre-litigation counseling. He frequently represents franchisors in litigation regarding trademark, post-termination covenants and related issues and assists franchisors and other commercial clients in reaching effective, common sense solutions to business problems. Jeff served on the Franchise Law Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and was the Vice Chair of the Franchise Law Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Kay Ainsley is a Managing Director of Michael H. Seid & Associates, LLC, (MSA) a domestic and international franchise advisory firm. She has over 20 years of experience in franchising as Director of Franchise Development for major franchise systems or as an advisor to companies within the retail, restaurant, services, manufacturing, and business to business industries. A frequent speaker for the International Franchise Association (IFA) and other professional organizations, in the United States and internationally, Kay has testified at the FTC hearings on the extension of the Franchise Rule to international transactions. She has authored numerous articles on franchising, has appeared on television and is often quoted in the press on franchising and business expansion.
Jack Burris is currently president of Red Beard Marketing, Inc., a branding and business development firm based in Charlotte, NC focused on helping clients meet and exceed sales and marketing goals. Prior to starting his own company, Jack served as director of sales and marketing for the International Franchise Association, a Washington, D.C. based organization representing more than 1,250 franchisors, 10,000 franchisees and 500 suppliers. Jack led the IFA marketing and sales team to more than 100 percent growth in revenue, producing similar gains in web site traffic. He is also a partner with Abistar Group LLC (Franchise Business Review), a franchise market research company focused on helping franchisors measure their success and providing prospective franchise buyers with an examination of today's leading franchise systems. Jack has 10 years of marketing and development experience, serves on the Marketing Committee at the IFA and contributes editorial frequently for Franchising World magazine.
